HS ~~ There will be a bus monitor meeting at lunch on Friday in the Tech lab (some pizza provided). I have the following students who are current bus monitors : Eliezer Teferra, Lia Kim, Suhin Shin, Adora Lushugurhi, Kip Maiyo, Matt Brittain, Gloria Song, Josh Nelson, Rachel Cowman, Muthoni Waweru, Jean Ossey, Jonathan Rurup, Catherine Njogu – If you are not on this list and wish to be a bus monitor, please come! HS ~~ Worship Team Auditions: We’re looking for talented, flexible, servant leaders for this year’s team – grades 9 – 12. Instruments: voice, guitar (electric or acoustic), drums, bass, keyboard, flute or violin. Try-outs for this year’s Worship Team run through the week (different instruments on different days) during lunches.
Drama Team Auditions: We’re looking for fun, energetic, creative leaders who would like to use drama as an outreach. This year’s team is going to be a bit different than last year so come and hear more details in Mrs. Brown’s room and to pick up an application. Try-outs are this Friday during lunch.
HS ~~ Registration for the October SAT is August 28th. Registration packets can be picked up in the Guidance Office but must be taken to Frise Holdings on Ngong Road. ***All registration forms must now include an attached photo or they will not be accepted. Please see Ms. Singleton for more information.
MS/HS ~~ Please remember to get your photograph taken for your personalized canteen card. Pictures can be taken from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 at boonies, behind the auditorium. Thanks!!
7th – 9th Graders
For those of you who had Miss Winter in Third Grade we are wondering if you would like to send her a note of encouragement. She has been ill, lately, and misses Kenya. We know that she would love to hear from her former students. If you would like to write her a note you can give it to Miss Jividen or bring it to the Media Center and give it to Mrs. Kranik. We would like to have them collected by Friday, August 17. Thanks!
