Student Life

Rosslyn Academy Elementary School is an international community of young learners. The Student Life of the elementary grades (K – 5th) is built around the core classroom and its teacher.  That teacher, along with teaching the basic information, has a responsibility to stay familiar with the strengths and needs of each of his/her students and to communicate often with the parents.

Additionally, these teachers and the elementary faculty provide grade level and all school events which help foster the students’ enjoyment and social growth. Among these events are the multi-cultural Thanksgiving Feast, intramural sports for grades 3-5, Christmas parties and the all-school Christmas Project.  There are also grade-level Service Projects to help students reach out to others, a limited clubs program, the National Honor Society’s Carnival, and the 3-day CFS (Cultural Field Study) event for the 5th graders.
