High school students at Rosslyn Academy enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with an international flavor. Students and teachers joke easily and often with one another. Koreans, Kenyans, Canadians, Ethiopians — the mix of backgrounds and languages energizes the campus and creates an international culture that is welcoming to students from all over the globe. Lunchtime isn’t just time for a sandwich or hot lunch, it also provides a lot of “social” food.
While in many ways student life has a casual feel to it, that doesn’t mean life isn’t filled with activities and diversions. It is! A strong student council program organizes pep rallys and retreats. Students involved in National Honor Society promote a variety of service projects. Classes often have their own socials during each semester. Both student and teacher-initiated Bible studies can be found.
