Rosslyn Academy provides learning support (special education) services for students with learning needs. We seek to provide support for neurodivergent learners, as well as those who may need temporary academic assistance.
We primarily support students with mild to moderate learning needs through pullout or inclusion services, as well as necessary accommodations and curricular modifications. Most students participate fully in an inclusive mainstream regular education classroom (and in high school, a college preparatory curriculum).
Typical disabilities served at Rosslyn include dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, speech and language disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1). All applicants, including those with more significant needs, are considered on a case-by-case basis, and admission depends on the school’s availability of personnel, resources, and overall student caseload at the time of application. There may be additional fees charged for Learning Support Services. Rosslyn Academy does not typically admit students with moderate-severe intellectual or emotional disabilities.
